1. Who we are
Myrios is a suite of relationship management apps. Our first app, Myrios Ministry, is a contact manager built for college ministry staff. We are based in the United States. You can reach us at myriosapp@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:
- Account information: your email address and password (used for login).
- Contact data: names, phone numbers, and photos you import from your iPhone contacts, along with notes and profile fields you enter about those people.
- Location data: GPS coordinates recorded when you add a new contact, to log where you met them. We do not track your location continuously.
- Voice recordings: audio you record in the Smart Hub feature, used solely to transcribe your spoken notes. Recordings are sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription and are not stored by us afterward.
- Google account data: when you connect your Google account for the War Room feature, we request access to Google Sheets only. We use this access to create and update a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive on your behalf. We do not read, store, or share any other Google data.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the app's features (contact management, AI summaries, reminders, War Room export).
- To send you push notifications for follow-up reminders you set.
- To generate AI-assisted summaries of your contacts using the Claude API (Anthropic). Only the notes and profile fields you enter are sent — no raw audio or full contact lists.
- We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described here.
4. Google API data
Myrios Ministry's use of Google Sheets API is limited to creating and updating a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive (the War Room sheet). We access Google Sheets only when you explicitly trigger a sync or export. We do not store your Google access tokens on our servers beyond the duration of a single sync request. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Supabase — database and backend infrastructure. Your data is stored securely in Supabase.
- OpenAI Whisper — voice-to-text transcription for the Smart Hub.
- Anthropic Claude — AI summaries and Smart Hub responses.
- Google Sheets API — War Room export to your Google Drive.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions. We do not store your payment details.
- Resend — transactional email (e.g. account confirmations).
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your contact data, notes, and profile information are permanently deleted from our database within 30 days. To request account deletion, email us at myriosapp@gmail.com.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and authenticated API access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Children's privacy
Myrios is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify active users of significant changes via email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
